“100 Varieties” print ad

Store date: early 1990s

Here’s an ad in the classic wordy mode, from very early in the store’s history (the early 1990s). My best guess is that this ad appeared in a program for either the Birmingham Music Club or the Alabama Symphony Orchestra. As with many of our advertisments, the emphasis was on our atypical inventory and customer service.  I can assure you that the most difficult part of putting this ad together was getting the words and spacings to mimic a downward-pointing arrow.
