Josh Ritter “Girl in the War” promo 45

16 January 2012

Store date: 11 April 2006

Although there are no visible promotional marking on the sleeve or labels of this vinyl 45 RPM single (which could be a 33 RPM single, but I have no turntable on which to verify this), the store was given a small quantity of these to give away as premiums to customers who purchased Josh Ritter’s The Animal Years CD (released on V2 Records). The flip side contains Josh’s recording of his own “Peter Killed the Dragon.”

Have I said before how important certain artist relationships were to the staff, customers and ongoing well-being of Laser’s Edge? Josh Ritter was one of everyone’s favorites, indisputably.

Do you want this item?  I don’t have a need to keep this, but I have only one.  Just e-mail me at spitballarmy (at) aol (dot) com.  We can work something out.
