This is the fourth – and presumably, the last – of the ultra-customized business cards I had made for myself at the turn of the century. They each had quotes from NME reviews of Beatles LPs upon their release. The writers for NME had a delightful habit of writing short quips commenting on each song on the album, mostly not very serious artistic critiques, as you have seen.

The review below is of the song “Tomorrow Never Knows,” and it is hilarious. Sounds kind of like my parents critiquing whatever I was spinning on my record player during the summers when I returned from college with copies of albums by The B-52’s, Elvis Costello and Laurie Anderson. “But how can you relax with…?”
